Welcome to Workforce Training

Hello, I am Philip Wadsworth. I am the owner of Workforce Training.
I specialise in providing Workforce Training – online training courses on various subjects, including Food Safety, HACCP, and Health & Safety. I also offer Training Directly to Employers. I deliver open public training courses for individuals and employees of smaller organisations. These are arranged across East Yorkshire. All the training courses I provide are designed to be effective, efficient, engaging and memorable, equipping participants with the skills and knowledge needed to progress in their roles. In addition to training courses, I offer butchery and food and drink manufacturing apprenticeships. Furthermore, I provide a consultancy service to employers   identifying suitable training for individuals perhaps setting up an apprenticeship programme to develop employees and planning for the future.

Online Training

We offer courses for individuals to complete mandatory training that meets both their own and their employers’ obligations. The courses can be taken on any device such as a computer, and at a self-determined pace.

If needed, personal help and guidance is available on request to start the course. Course handbooks are also provided prior to each course. On successful completion, Highfield certifies every course, and learners can instantly print their certificates.

My consultancy service offers advice and guidance to employers regarding their business’s training needs. For example, discussing introducing an apprenticeship programme, upskilling the workforce and planning for future succession.
Apprenticeships are a highly effective way to empower both new and existing employees to achieve their full potential in their respective job roles.
My expertise lies in delivering full apprenticeships for specific fields such as butchery, food and drink manufacturing, quality practitioner, and more.
Preparing correctly for the End Point Assessment (EPA) is essential. After all, the apprentice has worked through the standard for at least twelve months.
I wholeheartedly believe that completing an apprenticeship can yield significant benefits for both employers and employees, leading to increased job satisfaction and improved performance.

Open Course Calendar

Open courses are held regularly for anyone wanting to attend a course to meet their requirements or those of their employer. Many employees attend together when their employer can not accommodate a course on their business premises.

Our open courses are held around East, North Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire.

The open course calendar displays the dates and places the different courses will be held. The price given is per person.
Paying for the course is very easy. Using the plus, identify how many people attend, and the total price will be given. From there, you can use your card as usual when buying online. You will then receive an email confirming your place on the course.

Discounts are available when three or more people attend. Your discounts are calculated when using the appropriate coupon.
